Next up for the Y&E is Prudhoe YC at home in the Brookes Mileson memorial cup. The game kicks off at 7.30pm Tuesday 16th November. As it’s a cup game Season tickets aren’t valid. It’s £6 for adults, £4 concessions and accompanied U16s are free to get in.

The winners of the game will face an away trip to Darlington Town in the next round.
Prudhoe make the trip down from the Tyne Valley on the back of a 3-2 defeat at home against Seaham Red Star in the league last Saturday. They’ve had a challenging spell in the league recently, their last victory was against us at Essity Park back in early October. Thomas Wilson and Brad Lowes scoring for Prudhoe and Tom getting our only goal in a 2-1 defeat. That victory was their third in a row, but since then a 1-1 draw against Sunderland West End has been their solitary point. They were tough to play against in the league and deserved the three points that day, we know it’ll be a tough game under the lights for us. Top scorers in the league for them are Thomas Wilson on 6 and Brad Lowes on 5.
There is a couple of forced changes in the squad. Dan Jones and Josh Marshall both have reached five bookings this season and will both be missing through suspension. We’ve already seen U21 player Liam Vickers get a chance in the first team squad earlier this season and there may be a chance for more of our U21 players to get some first team action against Prudhoe.
All support is massively appreciated, it looks like it’s going to be a cold one, but there is hot drinks on sale in the cafe along with pies, hot dogs and chips. Not to mention the half time bottle draw to win a bottle of Baileys. Get yourself down to Bedford Terrace. It’s better than watching the I’m a celebrity.
Howay the mighty Y&E
