Yarm & Eaglescliffe FC can confirm that defender Freddie McBride has left the club and has joined Billingham Synthoia

With Freddie looking to gain more first team experience over the remainder of the season, having already secured a place at University next year, both the club and Freddie agreed that it was in his best interests to move to get more playing time. He leaves with our very best wishes for the future.

Everyone at the Y&E would like to thank Freddie for all his dedication and commitment during his time with the club.

A quality young defender, he rose through the ranks to the first team after an impressive two seasons with the reserves, which culminated in him winning the 24/25  reserve team player of the season and league and cup winners medals.

We wish him good luck as he continues his football journey and he’ll always be welcome back at the Y&E.
