Next up for the Y&E is our penultimate home league game of the season as Esh Winning make the trip down from County Durham to Bedford Terrace (TS23 4AE)
The game kicks off at 7.30pm Tuesday 7th April 2026 and is sponsored by John Watson. Tooth Express are sponsoring the match ball. Massive thanks for your support it is greatly appreciated.

It’ll be a tough game against an in form Esh Winning side who have picked up some really good results over the last six weeks. They maybe bottom of the league, but that doesn’t mean anything. They’ve taken 15 points from their last 10 games including wins at home against FC Hartlepool and away at Chester le Street Town. Last time out they were on the wrong end of a 4-2 defeat at Durham United on Sunday evening. They conceded on 87 and 90 after equalising on 81.
Overall they are P39 W7 D6 L26. Scoring 25 and conceding 92. Away from home they are P19 W3 D4 L13 scoring 9 and conceding 50.
We’ve played them twice away this season, winning 3-1 back in September in the league. Esh took a first half lead before Marshy, Ste and Ross Harrison scored in the second half. In the league cup we won 6-0 back in February. Pete Bulmer, Ste Roberts x 2, Joe Dalton and Tom Atkinson x 2 on the scoresheet.
Last season a late JL10 goal on 84 saw us win the home game 1-0 and the same score in the away game with an early Ste Roberts goal enough for another 1-0 win.
The Y&E will be looking to build on the momentum over the past few weeks. Tom is in a rich vein of scoring form, with 8 goals in his last 3 games. No major injury concerns other than long term Josh Larkin and Joe Hillerby injuries. Jacko will be looking for another solid performance from the squad and another three points to keep the pressure on Redcar Town at the top of the league. We know it’s out of hands, but the focus remains on doing everything we can to get maximum points in the final four games.
As ever your support is massively appreciated. The weather looks good, no school the next day for our younger supporters. Get yourselves there to back the lads.
